Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that he will discuss several issues, chief among them the war with Iran, during his upcoming meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Netanyahu added in a video statement that he will meet with Trump for the eighth time since Trump was elected to his second term.
He noted that his goal is "to preserve our security and also to expand the circle of peace around us."
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office stated in a release on Friday that he would travel to Washington and meet with Trump on Tuesday at the White House.
The office added that Netanyahu will also attend the funeral of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.
Press reports indicated that Netanyahu requested a meeting with Trump last week but did not receive a scheduled date. He later stated that he decided to postpone his trip after the funeral services for Senator Lindsey Graham were delayed.
According to Axios, some White House officials said last week that Netanyahu tried to "force the meeting as a fait accompli."
