Two children from the Gaza Strip completed their medical treatment in Jordanian hospitals and returned to Gaza on Tuesday, accompanied by five family members via the King Hussein Bridge.

According to a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces, the two children received the necessary medical care after arriving in the Kingdom through the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, in cooperation with the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health.
This marks the second group of children to return to Gaza after completing treatment in Jordan. Previously, 17 children returned on May 13 as part of the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative, launched by the Kingdom to provide medical assistance to residents of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Dozens of children from Gaza continue to receive medical care in Jordan since the beginning of the medical evacuation operations in early March.
The “Jordanian Medical Corridor” is one of several initiatives Jordan has launched since the outbreak of the war on Gaza to alleviate humanitarian suffering. These include the deployment of field hospitals, specialized clinics, and the delivery of medical and food aid convoys.
Jordan had announced at the launch of the initiative that patients and their companions would return to Gaza after completing their treatment, allowing space for new patients to be evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. This reflects Jordan’s steadfast position in supporting Palestinians, helping them remain on their land, and refusing to be part of any effort that may contribute to their displacement.
According to medical reports from the hospitals, all patients completed their treatment successfully and received the highest standards of medical care, while their companions were offered optimal hospitality.
