Trade, services contribute 56 percent to Jordan's GDP in first half of 2021

AMMAN — Jordan's gross domestic product (GDP) in the first half of 2021 amounted to JD14.992 billion at current prices, to which the trade and services sectors contributed 56.1 percent, according to statistics compiled by the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACM).اضافة اعلان

According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the data indicated that the country's six-month GDP expanded by JD364 million from the JD14.618 billion, reported in the same period of 2020.

Additionally, the total number of businesses registered with the ACM stood at 34,736 with a combined capital of about JD31.883 billion.
