His Majesty King Abdullah II and Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun discussed regional developments during a phone call on Wednesday.

His Majesty condemned the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, reaffirming Jordan's solidarity with the Lebanese people. He emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to providing support to enhance Lebanon's efforts in maintaining its security and stability.

For his part, the Lebanese President expressed his appreciation for the support Jordan has extended to his country, highlighting the deep-rooted relations between Lebanon and Jordan.

The two leaders stressed the necessity of halting the dangerous escalation in the region, respecting state sovereignty, and resorting to dialogue to resolve conflicts.
