AMMAN — Some 500,000 people have visited Petra Museum since its opening, museum Director Ibrahim Farjat told Al-Mamlaka TV. اضافة اعلان

The museum has eight halls where more than 300 artifacts discovered in Petra are on display, and 22 interactive screens with information meant to familiarize visitors with the history and cultural heritage of Petra.

Another ancient site, Jerash, Monday recorded the highest daily number of tourists, 2,518, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Director of Jerash Tourism directorate Firas Al-Khatatbeh.
