The King stressed the need to reach a comprehensive de-escalation agreement that guarantees the security and sovereignty of Arab states, emphasizing the pivotal role of the United States in supporting efforts to achieve regional stability.
He also highlighted the outcomes of the latest round of the “Aqaba Meetings” initiative, held recently in France to rally international support for the Lebanese Armed Forces and enable them to carry out their responsibilities in safeguarding Lebanon’s security and stability.
The King renewed his warning about the repercussions of Israeli escalation in southern Syria, reaffirming Jordan’s support for Syria’s efforts to strengthen its security and stability and preserve its territorial sovereignty.
The call also addressed ways to build on the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States across various fields.
