The Kingdom will
be affected by a cold front on Wednesday accompanying a low depression cantered
over north-eastern Turkey. A significant
decrease in temperatures is also expected and it will be relatively cold and
partly cloudy to cloudy.
According to the
head of Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) weather forecast section, Raed
Rafed Al Khattab, rain is expected to fall in the northern and central regions
of the Kingdom, extending to parts of the southern and western regions.
The wind will be
westerly, brisk, with strong gusts, sometimes exceeding 50 km/h in some areas
and causing dust, which leads to a decrease in the horizontal visibility,
especially in the Badia regions.
