Senate approves General Amnesty Law

AMMAN — In a session on Thursday, the senate approved the General Amnesty Law, which includes more than 7,000 detainees to be released per approval of the law, once the Royal Decree is issued.

Ahmed Tubishat, the head of the Legal Committee in the Senate, mentioned that the General Amnesty Law isn't much different from the 2019 Amnesty Law except in some matters, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
