Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi received a phone call on Monday from Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
The two ministers discussed the strong fraternal ties between the two kingdoms, ways to further strengthen and develop them, and efforts to build on the progress achieved in bilateral relations in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries.
Safadi and Al Zayani also discussed regional developments, the repercussions of the escalation in the region, and efforts aimed at restoring calm and strengthening security and stability.
The two ministers condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan.
Al Zayani affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Jordan in all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens.
The two ministers also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and prospects for cooperation and coordination to preserve regional security and stability and strengthen Arab cooperation.
