The United Arab Emirates on Monday strongly condemned the aggressive missile attacks targeting Jordan.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack constituted a blatant violation of Jordan’s sovereignty and posed a threat to its security and stability.

The ministry expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with Jordan and its support for all measures aimed at safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and stability.
The official spokesperson for the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said air defense systems intercepted eight missiles that breached Jordanian airspace early Monday.
He said the Jordanian Armed Forces responded to the attacks and successfully destroyed the missiles before they could pose any threat to civilians or property.
The spokesperson said the interception operations were carried out based on precise operational assessments and as part of the national responsibility to protect Jordanian airspace and ensure the safety of citizens, in accordance with established rules of engagement.
