On royal directives, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi on Monday checked on the health of Jordanian citizens injured in a traffic accident in the Egyptian city of Nuweiba after they were transferred from hospitals in Egypt to Jordan to continue treatment at Royal Medical Services hospitals.

During his visit to the injured, attended by Director General of the Royal Medical Services Brigadier General Dr. Sahl Al-Hamouri, Al-Issawi said His Majesty King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II were closely following their health conditions.
He conveyed the King and Crown Prince’s wishes to the injured and their families for a speedy recovery.
At Queen Alia Military Hospital, Al-Issawi checked on the health of Alaa Amir Abu Hajar, Karima Amir Abu Hajar, Khalil Ahmad Al-Masri and Malak Salim Abd Marouf. He received a briefing from medical staff on their health conditions, treatment plans and care being provided, with doctors describing their condition as good.
At Al-Hussein Medical City, Al-Issawi checked on the health of Amir Mahmoud Abu Hajar, Hamza Fayez Khalil, Sarah Mahmoud Abbas, Kinda Amir Abu Hajar, Sarah Hamza Fayez and Amir Ayman Allam.
He was briefed on their health conditions and the intensive medical care they are receiving to ensure their full recovery. Medical staff said their general condition was stable.
The injured and their families highly appreciated King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein’s continued follow-up of their conditions, as well as their ongoing concern for their health and inquiries about their well-being.
They expressed deep appreciation for the royal gesture, saying it had a significant positive impact on them and their families. They also praised the efforts of the medical and nursing teams overseeing their treatment and the care, attention and close follow-up they have provided, expressing their pride in the quality of medical services and care they are receiving.
The traffic accident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, September 2, when a bus carrying Jordanian and Egyptian passengers was involved in a crash on the Nuweiba-Dahab road. The accident resulted in the deaths of two Jordanian citizens and injuries to others, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
