On royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasais on Monday instructed the Royal Jordanian Air Force, in coordination with the Royal Medical Services, to send an aircraft equipped with a specialized medical team to evacuate 11 Jordanian nationals injured in a traffic accident in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force Medical Corps said the injured had received the necessary medical care in Egypt, noting that their conditions ranged from moderate to serious, with eight sustaining moderate injuries and three suffering serious injuries.
The injured will be transferred to Al Hussein Medical City in Jordan to continue their treatment and receive specialized medical care according to their health conditions.
The medical evacuation, carried out on royal directives, reflects Jordan’s commitment to the safety of its citizens and its support for them under all circumstances, as well as its efforts to deploy the capabilities of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army in their service wherever they may be.
The families of the injured expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, praising the Jordan Armed Forces’ efforts to monitor the conditions of Jordanian citizens and provide them with support and care, particularly in emergencies.
The move underscores the humanitarian and national role undertaken by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and its continued commitment to supporting Jordanian citizens and strengthening medical care and evacuation capabilities when needed.
