The Kingdom will be affected in the early morning and morning hours on Sunday by exceptionally unstable weather conditions for this time of year, with clouds increasing at various altitudes and showers expected in parts of northern and central Jordan, according to ArabiaWeather. The showers could also extend to parts of the southern and eastern regions.
In some northern and central areas, including the Jordan Valley, rainfall may be accompanied by thunderstorms, temporarily heavy downpours and hail. Accordingly, caution is advised due to:
Increased risk of flash floods and runoff in valleys and low-lying areas.
Thunderstorms and lightning.
Slippery roads during rainfall or hail.
Reduced visibility due to dust, particularly in desert areas and along desert roads.
Temperatures will drop noticeably during the remainder of Sunday, falling several degrees below their seasonal averages. Clouds will continue to appear at various altitudes, with showers remaining possible in parts of northern and central Jordan, occasionally accompanied by thunder. Rainfall could also extend to parts of Karak and Tafileh governorates and some areas of the eastern Badia.
Conditions are expected to gradually stabilize Sunday night into Monday, with cooler-than-usual weather across most areas.
On Monday, temperatures will rise slightly, bringing moderate, stable summer conditions across most parts of the Kingdom, while nighttime and early-morning temperatures will remain relatively cool.
