The Public Security Directorate has urged citizens to adhere to preventive measures aimed at reducing grass and forest fires, particularly with rising temperatures during the summer season.اضافة اعلان

The Directorate stated that Civil Defense teams responded to 3,844 fires involving grass, forest trees, and agricultural crops between May 1 and June 10, resulting in damage to approximately 10,402 dunums of land.

It emphasized that many of these fires are caused by avoidable human behavior and called on the public not to light fires or leave them unattended without ensuring they are completely extinguished.

The Directorate also urged citizens to report any fire immediately through the unified emergency number 911.
