Islamic thought researcher Dr. Mohammad Subhi Al-Aidi announced the upcoming launch of a national initiative titled "The Prophetic Dowry" (Al-Mahr Al-Nabawi), aimed at contributing to a culture of facilitating marriage, reinforcing Islamic and social values that encourage family building, and easing financial burdens on youth to bolster societal stability.

Dr. Al-Aidi explained that the initiative comes in response to the rising costs of marriage witnessed across communities and their associated social and economic impacts. He emphasized that the initiative stems from a vision built on community awareness and partnership with various national, tribal, and religious entities.
He noted that full details of the initiative—including its core pillars, implementation mechanisms, and participating bodies—will be unveiled during a press conference to be held on August 10, attended by a number of national and social figures, where the initiative's programs, objectives, and operational plan will be disclosed.
