Twelve people, including children, sustained various injuries after being bitten by a stray dog in the town of Kufr Al-Ma'a, located in the Kourah District west of Irbid Governorate.

Immediately following the incident, Civil Defense teams rushed to the site, providing first aid to the injured before transferring them to nearby hospitals to receive the necessary treatment and rabies vaccinations.
According to medical sources, most of the cases were rushed to Princess Raya Government Hospital and Eidoun Hospital, while one injured child was transferred to King Abdullah University Hospital for specialized medical care due to the severity of his injuries.
The incident sparked fear and panic among local residents, who questioned the increasing prevalence of stray dogs in residential neighborhoods. They called on relevant authorities and local municipalities to intervene immediately and urgently to put an end to this phenomenon, which has become a real threat to the safety of citizens and their children.
