Lower House Speaker Mazen Al-Qadi stated that the dangerous and systematic escalation of settler terrorism against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank—under the protection of the occupation government and army—along with illegal, provocative violations at the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque/Haram Al-Sharif, demands pressing Arab and international stances to halt this rising criminality, which embodies state terrorism.

In a statement issued by the House of Representatives, Al-Qadi emphasized that the continued storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, settlement expansion, and the burning of homes, properties, and agricultural lands constitute a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law. He noted that this reflects a systematic policy aimed at restricting Palestinians and forcing new realities by force—something Jordan rejects and will not accept in any form, and which the entire international community must reject and stand against.
Al-Qadi affirmed that these crimes represent organized terrorism and a crime that warrants accountability and prosecution. He added that they are an extension of the occupation’s settlement policies, which undermine all efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace and establishing an independent Palestinian state, while pushing the region toward further tension and instability.
The House's statement called on the international community, the UN Security Council, the United Nations, and the International Criminal Court to assume their legal and moral responsibilities. It urged them to take effective and urgent measures to stop the terrorism of the occupation state, hold perpetrators of these crimes accountable, end the policy of impunity, and compel Israel—the occupying power—to respect the rules of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, as this remains the sole path to achieving security, stability, and a just and lasting peace in the region.
