Municipal councils, including GAM’s, dissolved

AMMAN — All municipal and local councils, including the Greater Amman Municipality Council (GAM), have been dissolved, less than five months ahead of new elections slated for mid-August, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Musa Maaytah told Al-Ghad and Jordan News.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Local Administration is expected to announce the formation of provisional committees to run the municipalities, pending the election of new members.
