The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Monday morning, September 8, 2025, the official closure of the electronic application period for external scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year. The application window officially closed at 12:00 midnight on Sunday.

The Minister’s Media Adviser and official spokesperson of the Ministry, Muhannad Al-Khatib, stated that the total number of applications submitted reached 2,199. He added that the names of students nominated to benefit from these scholarships will be announced after the release of the unified admission results for Jordanian public universities.
Al-Khatib further explained that, in line with the principle of fairness and equal opportunity among students, the regulations governing external scholarships stipulate the exclusion of any student who is nominated through the Unified Admission Coordination Unit for admission in the same field of study at one of the Jordanian public universities from the external scholarships nomination list.
