On Saturday, the Ministry of Health and the Public Security Directorate signed a joint protocol to improve pre-hospital emergency medical care, aiming to enhance the quality of ambulance services and accelerate response times for critical cases.اضافة اعلان

The protocol was signed by Minister of Health Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badour and Public Security Director General Major General Dr. Obeidallah Al-Muayyatah at the Ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of several officials from both sides.

Dr. Al-Badour emphasized that the protocol reflects the ministry’s commitment to continuous coordination with the Public Security Directorate, a key pillar in the national healthcare system, providing comprehensive humanitarian services in the field. He added that this collaboration will boost the readiness of medical and ambulance personnel, improve emergency response speed, and elevate the quality of care according to international standards.

Major General Al-Muayyatah highlighted that the initiative aligns with King Abdullah II’s directives to enhance and upgrade services provided to citizens. He noted that the National Unified Ambulance Protocol, developed jointly with the Ministry of Health, Royal Medical Services, national universities, and expert specialists, embodies a vision of integrated institutional work and strengthens the national emergency response system.

He further explained that cooperation with the Ministry of Health will enhance the technical and medical capabilities of Civil Defense field teams through knowledge exchange and joint training programs, ensuring faster and more effective emergency responses.

The protocol aims to streamline field operations, unify national efforts, and guarantee the highest standards of humanitarian and medical care for citizens during pre-hospital emergency situations.
