The National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) announced on Sunday that it is completing the testing of the National Early Warning System to assess its readiness to alert the public to potential crises, disasters, and various emergency events.

In a social media post, the Center explained that the testing is being conducted in cooperation with:
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC)
Licensed telecommunications companies in the Kingdom
The NCSCM began sending test warning messages to mobile phones last Monday as part of a series of trial runs for the National Early Warning System across most of the Kingdom’s governorates, running through August 2.
The Center urged citizens not to panic or worry upon receiving the test messages, clarifying that the notifications arriving on mobile phones in both Arabic and English will be accompanied by an audible alert to capture attention and ensure immediate viewing.
