Jordanian Army Seizes Large Drug Haul Along Southern Border

The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army announced on Thursday that the Southern Military Region had seized a large quantity of narcotics during a border security operation.اضافة اعلان

According to the military, a Border Guard patrol discovered four bags containing large quantities of illegal drugs while conducting search and inspection operations in the area following a previous smuggling attempt involving drones.

The seized narcotics were confiscated and handed over to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.

The Jordan Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to deploying all available capabilities to safeguard the Kingdom's borders and to firmly confront smuggling attempts and any activities that threaten Jordan's security and the safety of its citizens.
