A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army announced that the Kingdom’s air defense systems intercepted eight Iranian missiles early Thursday morning that were targeting Jordanian territory.
The source said the interception was carried out as part of established defensive and operational measures to safeguard Jordan’s sovereignty, protect its airspace, and ensure the safety of its citizens.
The military source confirmed that the incident resulted in no casualties or material damage. Teams from the Royal Engineering Corps recovered and secured missile debris that fell in several locations, following approved technical and security procedures.
