Minister of Health inaugurates drug factory

AMMAN — Director-General of the Food and Drug Administration Nizar Mahmoud Mhaidat, deputizing for the Minister of Health Firas Al-Hawari inaugurated the non-cytotoxic and anti-neoplastic drug factory; specialized in the production of oncology, immunology, and hormone drugs under Al-Ram Pharmaceutical Industries, according to Ad-Dustour.اضافة اعلان

Mhaidat said the factory aligns with the King’s vision of strengthening national pharmaceutical industries and making Jordan a leading regional center in this field.

Head of Amman and Jordan Chambers of Industry Fathi Al-Jaghbir praised Jordan’s pharmaceutical industry as a source of national pride, having performed impressively during the pandemic by providing urgently needed drugs, masks, and sterilizers.

Wassim Al-Najmi, general manager of Al-Ram Pharmaceutical Industries, praised the efforts of the Food and Drug Administration, which provided expertise and technical support to achieve drug safety and security.
