Minister condemns vandalizing historical sites as ‘irresponsible’

AMMAN — Culture Minister Haifa Najjar on Monday decried the vandalism of heritage sites, referring to the incident where a heritage site in the northern governorate of Jerash was vandalized on Sunday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Najjar described the vandalism incident as “irresponsible” and stated that it does not reflect Jordanians’ awareness regarding the importance and value of historical sites.
