The Jordanian Senate will hold a legislative session on Sunday to discuss and approve a number of draft laws, as part of the agenda for the fifth meeting of the second ordinary session.

The session will examine the Legal Committee’s decision regarding the draft amendment to the Electronic Transactions Law for 2025, in addition to its report on the draft amendment to the Notary Public Law for 2025 and the draft amendment to the Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites Law for 2025.
The Council will also discuss the draft law ratifying the Extradition Agreement between Jordan and Uzbekistan for 2025, as well as the draft law ratifying the Extradition Agreement between Jordan and Spain for 2025.
The agenda further includes discussion of the draft law ratifying the Mutual Legal Assistance Agreement in Criminal Matters between Jordan and Morocco for 2025, in addition to the draft law ratifying the Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between Jordan and Morocco for 2025.
The Council will also deliberate on Financial and Economic Committee Decision No. (2) concerning the draft amendment to the Competition Law for 2025.
