His Majesty King Abdullah II attended the opening session of the Jordan–Vietnam Business Forum in Hanoi on Thursday.
During his remarks at the session, His Majesty emphasized the importance of strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries and benefiting from Vietnam’s advanced economic experience.

The King highlighted the potential for both nations to leverage their investment advantages to achieve economic integration and build an economic bridge connecting Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
His Majesty also discussed opportunities for collaboration between private sector institutions in areas such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, textiles, technology, agriculture, and logistics.
He stressed the importance of building on the outcomes of the business forum by establishing a clear work plan through the exchange of visits, expertise, and institutional partnerships that ensure continuity and actionable results.
The forum brought together representatives of companies, industrial, and trade chambers from both countries to explore mechanisms for enhancing trade and investment cooperation and opening new avenues for private sector partnerships.
Attending the session were Director of His Majesty’s Office, Eng. Alaa Al-Bataineh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Eng. Yaarub Al-Qudah, and Jordan’s non-resident Ambassador to Vietnam, Saed Al-Radaideh.
