The Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/9 organized a blood donation campaign on Friday to support the healthcare sector in Gaza and help save the lives of patients and the injured. The campaign saw wide participation from the hospital’s staff.
The force commander stated that this initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to provide aid and relief to people in the Gaza Strip, given the continuous need for blood supplies for the wounded. He added that the hospital continues to carry out its humanitarian and medical mission with dedication toward the people of Gaza.
For his part, the hospital director said that such campaigns reflect the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples. He noted that medical teams are working to provide the best possible healthcare services to support the sector amid the difficult conditions in Gaza.
It is worth noting that the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/9 began operations in mid-February and has since provided medical treatment to more than 15,000 patients and injured individuals, and performed over 280 major and minor surgeries since its deployment to the Gaza Strip.
