This ceremony marks a significant milestone in the Committee’s efforts to empower 168 health professionals from the Gaza Strip—including specialists, dentists, nurses, and laboratory technicians. The goal is to qualify them to serve as the fundamental backbone of Gaza’s hospitals, providing specialized expertise under current challenging conditions.
Dr. Jihad Al-Ajlouni, Chairman of the Committee, emphasized that this gathering embodies the strategic tracks the Committee has pursued since its establishment in 2008. These efforts extend beyond direct relief—such as sending medicines and medical delegations—to include "Sustainable Human Development" through training medical staff and renovating damaged health facilities in Gaza.
The graduating doctors expressed their deep appreciation for Jordan's historical role in hosting Gazans and removing obstacles to their educational and professional attainment.
During the event, Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Jalamdeh, Secretary of the Jordan Medical Association, presented honorary plaques to the graduates. The ceremony also featured:
Documentary screenings: Titled "The Suffering of Doctors in Tents," depicting the reality of healthcare workers in Gaza.
Memorial service: A tribute to the late Dr. Marwan Al-Sultan, honoring his medical legacy and dedication.
