Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization announced the start of manufacturing, equipping, installing, and distributing mobile homes (caravans) from within the Gaza Strip as part of its emergency shelter programs aimed at supporting affected families amid worsening humanitarian conditions and the lack of safe housing.

The humanitarian intervention is being fully implemented from inside Gaza in response to on-the-ground realities and to accelerate response efforts while ensuring continuity of shelter operations. Local technical teams, under the organization’s direct supervision and coordination, have begun manufacturing, assembling, installing, and delivering the units according to approved humanitarian priorities targeting the most vulnerable families.
The organization emphasized that adopting an operational mechanism from within Gaza reflects flexibility in response and operational readiness, ensuring aid reaches beneficiaries without delay and translating plans into tangible interventions that preserve the dignity of affected families and enhance their temporary stability.
Secretary-General Hussein Al-Shibli stated that carrying out manufacturing, installation, and distribution inside the Strip represents a practical step to enhance the effectiveness of shelter programs. He affirmed that the organization will continue expanding this intervention in proportion to the scale of need, in coordination with local partners and supporting entities.
He noted that these efforts are being implemented in cooperation with several partners, including the Jordanian Relief Campaign, within regulatory frameworks that ensure quality implementation and sustainable impact.
The organization confirmed that donations remain open to support shelter programs and enable the provision of additional mobile homes, contributing to the expansion of humanitarian response efforts within the Gaza Strip.
This initiative comes as part of Jordan’s humanitarian role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, in supporting the Palestinian people. Through its humanitarian institutions, the Kingdom continues to fulfill its humanitarian duty toward its Palestinian brothers and sisters under all circumstances.
