Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, praised the efforts by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States in reaching the agreement.

He also thanked Turkey for its contributions, stressing the importance of full compliance with the deal.

Safadi highlighted Jordan’s appreciation for US President Donald Trump’s role in finalizing the agreement, his proposal to end the war, reconstruct Gaza, prevent the displacement of the Palestinian population, advance comprehensive peace, and his declaration against the annexation of the West Bank.

He emphasized the urgent need for coordinated efforts to deliver sufficient humanitarian aid to alleviate the famine facing the Gaza Strip.

Jordan reaffirmed its role in facilitating aid to Gaza in coordination with regional partners, the international community, and UN agencies, expressing readiness to resume deliveries immediately once ‘Israel’ lifts restrictions.

Safadi said Jordan will keep working with regional partners to achieve a just, comprehensive peace, ending the occupation and establishing a sovereign Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
