AMMAN — The Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed) announced Jordan clinching the top spot with its 'Jerash stamp' in the 2023 competition for the most exquisite stamp. In a statement by the Jordan Post Company on Thursday, the Jordanian postal stamp, titled "Mediterranean Festivals," gained substantial support and emerged victorious among 23 participating countries in the union's member states, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported. The statement highlighted Jordan's pivotal role within the postal union, emphasizing its active engagement and commitment. It also underscored the Kingdom's efforts to spotlight Mediterranean festivals, showcasing Jordanian culture through these seasonal celebrations that honor local, Arab, and human creativity.
