Jordan records 7 COVID deaths on Wednesday

AMMAN  — Jordan recorded 1,052 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, in addition to 7 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,710 and the caseload to 822,892. اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 432 cases, while Zarqa recorded 87 cases.

Irbid registered 182 cases, while Balqa recorded 29 cases.

Karak recorded 68, Jerash recorded 44 cases, and Tafileh recorded 19.

Madaba registered 17 cases, Aqaba 61, and Ajloun 24.

The ministry added in a statement that some 64 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 58 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,333 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.71 percent of the 28,323 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
