The Land Transport Regulatory Commission, through the Government Tenders Department, has launched a tender for the construction of a new departure and arrival center in Zarqa Governorate.
The project will be built on a site covering approximately 100 dunums, adjacent to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station, as part of the commission’s efforts to develop public transport infrastructure and improve services provided to citizens.
According to a statement by the commission, the project includes a main building with a total area of approximately 6,200 square meters, along with 10 auxiliary buildings covering around 700 square meters in total. It will also include designated parking areas for large and medium-sized buses and cars, three pedestrian bridges, as well as roads, sidewalks and the necessary utility networks.
The project is expected, once completed and operational, to help organize the departure and arrival of public transport buses, improve traffic flow, facilitate passenger movement and provide a suitable environment for receiving and serving passengers.
It is also expected to strengthen integration between public transport services and the Amman-Zarqa BRT system, contributing to improved service levels for citizens.
The deadline for submitting bids has been set for October 26, 2026.
