The Yemeni armed forces said Friday that the country’s air force carried out 20 precise airstrikes over the past three hours against Houthi targets in Taiz governorate.
A military spokesperson said the strikes targeted Houthi “movements, reinforcements, gatherings, personnel, vehicles and military equipment” in the governorate.
In a post on X, the spokesperson said the strikes made direct hits on the targeted positions, causing losses among militia personnel and damaging their equipment and military movements.
The Yemeni armed forces said Thursday that they were continuing to repel a series of large-scale, simultaneous attacks launched by Houthi forces across several fronts and areas in Taiz.
The army and popular resistance forces had repelled a series of Houthi attacks backed by heavy fire since Wednesday evening in the districts of Jabal Habashi and Maqbanah west of Taiz, as well as on the Aqroud front in Al-Misrakh district southeast of the city.
