Jordan records 415 COVID cases on Saturday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 415 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, in addition to 9 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,463 and the caseload to 800,240.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Saturday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 137 cases, while Zarqa recorded 55 cases.

Irbid registered 83 cases, while Balqa recorded 10 cases.

Karak recorded 9, Jerash recorded 22 cases, and Tafileh recorded 22.

Madaba registered 4 cases, Aqaba 30, and Ajloun 5.

Mafraq registered 13 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 42 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 67 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,724 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.66 percent of the 11,724 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
