Jordan records 20 deaths on Thursday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 893 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, in addition to 20 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,422 and the caseload to 798,984.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 439 cases, while Zarqa recorded 98 cases.

Irbid registered 120 cases, while Balqa recorded 32 cases.

Karak recorded 14, Jerash recorded 28 cases, and Tafileh recorded 37.

Madaba registered 15 cases, Aqaba 26, and Ajloun 19.

Mafraq registered 30 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 65 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 63 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,617 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.05 percent of the 29,329 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
