Jordan records 13 new COVID-19 deaths, 4,102 new cases

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 4,102 new COVID-19 cases and 13 new deaths on Saturday, bringing the total death toll to 13,062 and the total number of cases to 1,134,097.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 2,186 cases, while Zarqa recorded 620 cases. Irbid registered 514 cases, Balqa 465 cases, Karak recorded 55 cases, Jerash recorded 56 cases, and Tafileh recorded 0 cases. Madaba registered 23 cases, Aqaba 19, Ramtha 15, and Ajloun 33.

The ministry said in a statement that 90 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 105 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 44,251 according to the ministry. Out of 23,680 COVID-19 tests conducted Saturday, 17.32 percent of them came back positive.
