During the finance committee’s discussion on the general budget law for 2023 on Wednesday, Azaizeh said that the government’s relationship with the legislative body (Lower House and Senate) is cooperative and integrated with the common goal of achieving national interest, which will be reflected positively on the services it provides to citizens.

Azaizeh emphasized that the government will not allow any violations on the dignity and respect of the members of the parliament.

He added that the upcoming parliamentary sessions aim to expand the participation of political parties and there will be one electoral district per governorate, excluding Irbid, which will have two, and the capital will have three.

He also noted that the framework for the parties' path will be dealt with after the full approval of the law, which is expected to be approved by mid-May.
