The Wadi Al-Karak Dam in Karak Governorate and the Shaythm Dam in Tafilah have already overflowed. The Ministry of Water and Irrigation – Jordan Valley Authority, expects the Mujib Dam to reach its full storage capacity of 25 million cubic meters, with overflow directed toward Wadi Mujib, as the rainfall continues affecting several southern regions. The heavy rains have also helped replenish water reserves, particularly at Wadi Al-Karak and Shaythm dams.

The ministry urged the public to avoid flood channels and valleys, stay away from dams and earthen pits, and follow official safety instructions to ensure public safety.
