JUST establishes scholarship in the name of Shireen Abu Akleh

AMMAN — Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Monday said it will grant a scholarship for postgraduate studies at the faculty of Architecture and Design in the name of Shireen Abu Akleh, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

University President Khaled Al-Salem said that the university will also name one of the draft rooms at the faculty of Architecture and Design after Abu Akeleh.

He added that the move it taken to commemorate “the memory of Abu Akleh, who paid with her life the price of conveying the truth”.

Abu Akleh started her university as a student of the Department of Architecture at JUST, after which she completed her studies in journalism and media at Yarmouk University.
