AMMAN — The
Social Security Corporation announced on
Saturday that it was going to extend the Estidama program and the modified
Estidama program for establishments until the end of June; 41,000 workers and
2,400 establishments benefit from the program, according to Ad-Dustour.

The decision will enable establishments benefiting from the
Estidama program to cover 50 percent of their employees with old-age insurance.
It will also reduce the subscriptions of the enterprises benefiting from the
program to 13.5 percent instead of 21.75 percent.
The expected decision allows establishments covered by the
program to reschedule the amounts owed by them to the Social Security
Corporation for the second time, as per
Defense Order No. 15, which stipulates
an exemption of 50 percent of interests and fines, according to the
corporation.
The expected decision enables facilities benefiting from the program to include 75 percent of their workers in the old-age insurance
schemes.
