Palestinian medical sources reported on Tuesday evening that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,064, the majority being children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The sources added that the number of injuries has reached 156,573, with many victims still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue teams and civil defense crews.
In the past 24 hours, 60 fatalities (including two bodies recovered) and 343 injuries were reported in Gaza hospitals. Since March 18, following Israel’s breach of the ceasefire agreement, the hospitals have recorded 10,518 deaths and 44,532 injuries.
During the same 24-hour period, hospitals received 31 deaths and 197 injuries from aid-related incidents, bringing the total number of deaths from starvation and malnutrition admitted to hospitals to 1,996 and injuries to 14,898.
Additionally, Gaza hospitals recorded 3 deaths over the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total to 266, including 112 children.
