Jordan to Use JD 280,000 from Japan for Irrigation Channel Maintenance

The Japanese government has approved the utilization of JD 280,000 from the Jordan-Japan Joint Account to fund a project for the construction and maintenance of irrigation channels under the Ministry of Agriculture. The Jordan-Japan Joint Account was established in 1997 under the management of the Ministry of Finance. Its funds are used, in coordination with the Japanese government, to finance development projects in the agricultural sector, as well as support food security, contributing to the Kingdom’s economic development.
