On behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi bid farewell on Wednesday to the Royal Hajj delegation benefiting from His Majesty’s annual royal gesture for the families of Jordanian Armed Forces–Arab Army and security service martyrs and wounded personnel. The farewell ceremony was held at the Royal Hashemite Court.

Al-Issawi conveyed His Majesty’s greetings and heartfelt wishes to the pilgrims, emphasizing the King’s deep commitment to ensuring their comfort and care throughout the pilgrimage. He wished them a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling journey and a safe return to Jordan.
He highlighted that this annual royal gesture reflects King Abdullah’s unwavering loyalty and gratitude to those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, and a clear commitment to honoring their families. Caring for the families of martyrs and injured servicemen remains a top priority for His Majesty, Al-Issawi said.
He stressed that the initiative is a sincere expression of royal appreciation for the families of heroes whose bravery and sacrifices are foundational to the Jordanian state and a source of national pride.
Al-Issawi added that the Royal Hashemite Court, under the direct guidance of the King, continues to exert every effort to provide the highest level of services and support to this cherished group—driven by the belief that those who sacrificed for Jordan deserve full honor and backing.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Khalayleh, Imam of the Royal Hashemite Court, stated that this royal initiative is part of a broader value system that defines the Hashemite leadership’s deep bond with the Jordanian people. Offering the chance to perform Hajj to the families of martyrs and injured servicemen is a noble recognition of their sacrifices, he said.
Al-Khalayleh added that this spiritual journey is not the end of the recognition, but part of an ongoing message of gratitude toward those who gave the nation their very best. He encouraged the pilgrims to carry pure intentions, pray for the country and its leadership, and uphold values of unity and solidarity.
Delegation members expressed their deep gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II for this generous and compassionate gesture, which has allowed them to perform Hajj in comfortable and well-organized conditions. They emphasized that this initiative reflects the profound connection between the Hashemite leadership and the people of Jordan, embodying true values of loyalty and mutual support.
They affirmed that their journey is filled with heartfelt prayers for the homeland, its leadership, armed forces, and security agencies, voicing pride in belonging to a nation that honors and supports its people in all circumstances.
Accompanying the main delegation was a team from the Royal Hashemite Court, tasked with coordinating and ensuring the best possible support and logistical arrangements for the pilgrims.
The farewell ceremony was attended by Royal Adviser for Tribal Affairs Kni’an Al-Balawi, Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya (acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs), Chief Islamic Justice Sheikh Abdul Hafiz Al-Rabta, Grand Mufti Dr. Ahmad Al-Hasanat, Secretary General of the Royal Court Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Karaki, along with several official, religious, and military figures.
