Increase in SSC pensions to be announced next week, says spokesman

AMMAN — Pensioners with the Social Security Corporation (SSC) can expect an increase in their salaries starting this coming May according to the corporation spokesman and legal department director, Anas Al-Qudah.اضافة اعلان

This is an annual increase in the pensions of those affiliated to the organization.

Qudah added that the raise will be expected as of next week. According to Ad-Dustor daily, he added that the increase will not be less than JD4 and will be calculated on the wage growth rate of 31.1 percent instead of the inflation rate.

Qudah said the SSC authorities are presently calculating the exact increase taking into account the total pensions in the public organization on an equal basis and this will be announced at the beginning of next week.
