AMMAN — The Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, on Thursday approved an amended legal aid bylaw for 2022, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The new system aims to facilitate access to justice, strengthen the rule of law, provide fair trial guarantees, and expand groups benefiting from legal aid by reviewing related criteria and eligibility foundations.

The Council of Ministers approved an amended Hazardous Material and Waste Management Bylaw for 2022 to re-form the Technical Committee for Management of Hazardous Materials and Waste.

Under the new criteria, the technical committee's membership will expand to welcome representatives from transport, interior, and environment ministries.

The Cabinet also okayed the mandating reasons for a draft bylaw to revoke incentives for industrial activities No. (13) of 2020, which was replaced by 2022 Support for Industry Development Fund Bylaw No. (45) that was published in the Official Gazette.

The 2022 system would optimize the national economy's benefits by giving Jordanian products a "greater" competitive advantage and incentives in the local and global markets.
