IPA launches public sector modernization initiative for employee training

Institute highlights visit by Crown Prince, Deputy PM for Economic Affairs

AMMANJordan’s Institute of Public Administration (IPA) is pleased to announce the launch of the initiative “Enhancing the Capabilities of Public Sector Workers in the Areas of Public Administration”, according to a press statement. اضافة اعلان

The initiative represents the first measure of the human resources component of the Executive Program for Public Sector Modernization for the year 2023, which is led by the Public Sector Modernization Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office.



Under the initiative, the IPA is organizing and delivering a series of specialized training programs aiming to enhance the capacities of 1,500 public sector employees in the areas of project management, managerial skills, and service delivery.

On February 23, HRH Crown Prince Hussein and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernization Nasser Shraideh visited the IPA, thereby signalling the importance of the initiative for the Kingdom of Jordan, according to the statement.



During his visit to the IPA, the Crown Prince stressed that the development of the performance of employees in the public sector requires significant improvement and commitment to teamwork, pointing to the institute’s key role in training and qualifying workers in the public sector.



The IPA, in the statement, expressed its gratitude to the Government of Italy and the European Public Law Organization for funding and supporting the organization and implementation of the initiative in the framework of the project “Support to the Institute of Public Administration of Jordan”.
