This came during a meeting to discuss the Ramadan inspection plan, attended by directors and staff of the relevant departments. The meeting reviewed field inspection operations and the schedules of morning, evening, and night shifts, ensuring the highest levels of readiness and efficiency across JFDA branches in all governorates.

The meeting discussed monitoring and traceability procedures to ensure adherence to approved health standards, particularly for high-risk foods or those with increased consumption during Ramadan, such as meat, poultry, dairy, cheeses, and others.

Obaidat directed the reinforcement of procedures for handling complaints and feedback received through various communication channels, ensuring prompt and effective responses. She also emphasized awareness and education programs on food safety practices for both consumers and food establishment staff. A series of dedicated teams will operate around the clock to cover all governorates.

Obaidat stressed the importance of quick responses to complaints via the hotline, considering citizens as key partners in identifying violations within the community. She also highlighted the continuous broadcasting of the hotline numbers through various media channels. Citizens can reach out with any complaint, observation, or inquiry via the hotline at 117114 or through WhatsApp at 0795632000.
