Dr. Nasser Al-Rahamneh, the municipality’s media spokesperson, confirmed that municipal teams are fully prepared in the field to respond to any reports received at the Tla’a Al-Ali emergency operations center. He urged citizens to contact the unified call center numbers (102 and 117180) if they notice any issues.

Al-Rahamneh advised residents to exercise caution by staying away from valleys and low-lying areas and warned against dumping waste indiscriminately, as it can block rainwater drainage lines.

He also stressed the importance of checking submersible pumps in basements and commercial spaces located below street level, and called on shop owners to take preventive measures when storing goods in warehouses and ground floors.

Additionally, Al-Rahamneh emphasized that contractors and construction project owners should secure building materials to prevent them from being washed away and directly blocking rainwater drainage lines.
